New Single Sets Sail 20 July

2014-7-20_skull_POSTER2jul9__400‘Tis true, ’tis true, Brillig have a NEW SINGLE just for you, me hearties!

If ever there was a motley – and deadly – mob of bastard pirates, they would be aboard the SS Brillig as the “Crew of the Damned”…

We proudly present our newest recording since 2013 LP “I Ain’t Ever Gonna See the Sea”, launching LIVE at the Grace Emily Hotel on Sunday 20th July.

We’re printing a LIMITED EDITION run of hard copies to celebrate, which not only feature the title track, but TWO BONUS TRACKS as well!

There are 2 essential reasons why you must go to the LIVE LAUNCH:
1. The tracks won’t be available online for some time, so this is your first chance to grab some new music
2. We will be revealing the Bonus Tracks on the night. Here’s a hint, one is a cover – and crowd favourite in Brillig’s live set – while the other was recorded LIVE, somewhere other than Australia…. (*cough* Nashville *cough*).

If that weren’t enough, here’s another essential reason – VIC’s pop indie songstress Rose Wintergreen is making her way over here for her 1st Adelaide appearance, AND she’s got a new single in tow as well! You’re ears will be treated to “This City”, which is currently doing the rounds on radio. Do yourself a favour and make her feel welcome.

Oh – and did we mention it’s FREE ENTRY?  Boy, do we love to spoil you guys.

See you on the 20th July (doors 4pm), and thanks for the support!

[By the way, if you’re wondering about this fabulous piece of original artwork featured in the poster – and CD sleeve – it was a custom job by Adelaide artist extraordinaire, Charlie Roberts. The man is good. Very good.]
